Church News October 2025

New Rector -  Latest

Interviewing will take place this month, so we are hoping that he or she will be successful and we will have more positive news next month.

Fete

Thank you very much to everyone who made the Fete such a success; the stall holders, those who ran side shows, the tea ladies, everyone who helped on the day and beforehand, those who nobly put tents up and down - yet again.  A special thank you to those who gave raffle prizes and last but most importantly, to everyone who came and supported the event.

We had nearly as many visitors as usual and made over £2000 for our two churches' funds.  A great result!

Harvest Festival

As usual, the church was decorated for the Festival Thanksgiving.  A number of people remarked how wonderful the flowers looked.  Thanks to Sue and Christine who did a fabulous job for us.

Edward Bear Club

Edward Bear is for babies and pre-school children with their parents, grandparents or carers.

We start by ringing the church bell before having story time followed by an activity then play.  There is a cup of tea or coffee for adults and squash for the children and biscuits for all.

We finish at 3pm so older children can be picked up from school.  Come and join us.
